The Board Is Set. The Pieces Are Moving.
My 5th exam is tomorrow morning at 7:30. German. I shall do just fine. Wednesday at the same time is my Physics exam. This I should do alright on, as well. I have finished most everything I need to do here except pack. I have decided to take my computer back with me as well. If just so that Chris can admire it.
I want to offer my sympathy to Odette who had some trouble today with a car door. I’ve smashed many digits. Sometimes on bokken…
My little refrigerator is bleeding it’s in-nerds all over the towels spread before and inside it. It had to be defrosted. So sad.
Oh well…
I’m about 50% through Watership Down for the first time. I like it so far - Thanks, Odette! So many books that I need to read… so little time! Ack, I’m stealing her lines!
*repents*
On to other news: For less than $100 you can buy your kids a DNA extraction kit for Christmas!. Yay!

Actually, unless I miss my guess, that kit is probably a lot like a lab we did in IB Bio - we pulled chromatin out of onions, and that’s basically the DNA. I think that would be a fun Christmas present for someone scientifically minded, though the price tag might be a bit.
Just a comment - I looked at the reviews of Watership Down on the Barnes and Noble site and was amused to see how bipolar they were. Seriously, it seems that this book is either “awesome,” “astonishing,” and “simple yet so compelling,” or “100% boring!” I am highly amused.
Ah, sweet! Your very own gel electrophoresis kit! Heehee ;D
Yup, that’s pretty much what we did in bio. Whee!
Yay for Watership Down! One of my favs. Though I seemed to have lost my copy :(. Oh well, I’ll get a new one eventually.
And the people at Barnes and Nobles are stupid. That’s all I have to say.
