I present a guy who likes the books wayyy too much: Phil Eskew’s Nit-Pickers Guide to the Lord of the Rings. It’s amusing, but really, really nitpicky!

    I recall complaining about some of the same things.. And he missed a few. For one thing, the horses wouldn’t have run from the Paths of the Dead while a Ranger and an Elf were beside them. How did Jackson get them all the way to the mouths of Anduin in two days without horses?
